Overview:
This is the Month Calendar for Android. With this product you can manage the same events as the standard Android calendar, but in addition you will get a great overview over the current month. The calendar is very fast, and includes great features like overview/detail mode, searching for events and jumping to specific dates.

Unlike the Swedish localized version of this application, this international English version does NOT include namesdays, holidays or flag-days.

The application is tested and designed for phones running Android 2.1, 2.2.2, 2.2.3, 2.3.4 and 4.0, using several different brands. We do NOT recommend that you run this application on tablets (i.e. Android 3.x.x), it will probably not work on such devices. Furthermore, it is tested with Google calendar accounts, but not with other remote calendar account types. However, since the application uses the same functions to access accounts as the standard calendar, also other types are expected to perform well. We cannot state any promises that this application will work on every type of device (the variants are huge), therefore try the test version first.

Please try the test version (Month Calendar – test version, free of charge) of this product to evaluate if the product works well on your device and suit your needs, before considering buying this full version. The test version is limited to only manage events up to the current date. If this test version does not work well you are very welcome to tell us at support@appsoftia.com, and we will examine if we can correct the problem.


Functions:
✓ Events can be created/edited/deleted on the same accounts as the standard Android calendar, e.g. a Google calendar account
✓ A Widget shows the next three upcoming events within the next 7 days
✓ Switch fast between different months/days by pressing icon buttons or by swiping your finger left/right over the display
✓ The home icon button takes you directly to todays date
Your events can be presented with the calendar account as defined by the external calendar account. Not all account types support this, but Google calendar does support colors. You can change the colors using a web browser and go to the Google calendar
✓ You can select which calendar accounts you want to show/sync/colorize per calendar with this application (if colors is supported by the account type)
✓ Week numbers are shown, but only according to the ISO 8601 standard (mostly used in EU)
✓ Menu functions to jump to selected date or week number.
✓ Powerful search function
✓ You can double-click to toggle between overview/details of the month. The overview however does not display any events
✓ Reminder supported with alerts using the standard calendar function
✓ Both portrait and landscape mode are supported

Known drawbacks and limitations:

1 The amount of supported repeat interval is limited.

2 If the device calendar data is becoming “out of sync”, this can be corrected with the menu function for re-sync.

3 On very small displays (e.g. QVGA-240x320, as on Sony Ericsson X10 mini pro) the text font is readable but a bit fuzzy. The text size is primary intended for medium/large displays.

4 The application is not designed to run on tablets (i.e. Android 3.x.x)
